#84 Oiseaux d'une plume (a bird in the hand)

A victorian orgy of ribbon and trim! Vintage rhinestone bird button rest on a piece of "pink cloud" silk ribbon, circa late 1800. Framed on each side by antique french toile. Antique french embroidered silk ribbon is at the top, embellished with antique lace and vintage pearls and antique "finding" off of a vintage purse. Turn of the century paisley frames the piece. Also used fabulous vintage bluebird trim, blue velvet from a 1800's ball gown, and the black and whit print is early to mid 1800's. The wonderful tassels are victorian and the hanger is a vintage carved purse handle.
