Stories of the fan

I’ve had this lovely antique fan in my collection for years-even tattered and torn it is drop dead gorgeous! I stitched it onto a great piece of art deco fabric-showcasing an antique frozen charlotte china doll. The Carved Wood piece at the top is off of an antique Chinese dresser. I used old gilded paper to mount the vintage bakelite mah jong tiles- the vintage embroidered brocade silk trim at the bottom is a treasure- the antique silk fringe at the bottom is painted with fabric paint. 16” t x 7 ¼” w x 1” d
