Solitude beneath the dragon I used a beautifully glazed “antique flower frog” & vintage bakelite mah jong tiles for the base of this piece. The antique frozen charlotte rests under the dragon of vintage carved bone. I wired him to a vintage red lacquer chopstick, which I wrapped with wire & antique glass beads. The lovely carved wood floral piece is from a piece of an antique Chinese mirror, the tassels are from a Victorian sewing basket. I embellished with vintage jewelry (the bug) and an old Chinese coin.
