Our lady of the buttons I started with an antique tin Minerva doll head, and an orphaned antique kid “torso,” (all that was left from another antique doll). She is holding a bouquet of vintage metal flowers, and on her head is a Victorian tortoise shell comb. Her skirt is a window screen, rescued from someone’s trash- for the stand I used a metal cone , found in a trash pile at a construction site. She is of course, adorned with LOTS of antique and vintage buttons. |
