Eternal Love
This is yet another piece inspired by a heart rendering epitaph off of a antique headstone.
I started with a wonderful vintage linen monogrammed hankie, dying it a deep red. I then used a metallic fabric paint to stamp a floral pattern.
For the skeleton, I used a vintage wool that I hand dyed and appliquéd. I embellished with marcasite stars, and a Victorian mourning button. The frame is wrapped with Victorian wool paisley.
