I had such fun with this! I used the brightest and most vibrant fabrics to create a “fiesta feel.”  The photo is appliquéd onto an antique embroidered kimono piece, surrounded by hand dyed vintage lace flowers. There are pieces of a Victorian felt tablecloth, a turkey red damask tablecloth, a wonderful mid 1800’s paisley shawl, and an incredible piece of early English needlepoint. Embellished with hand beading , hand embroidery, and hand dyed antique lace.
