#75 Sic Itur ad Astra (The way to the stars) Photocopy printed onto antique linen is surrounded by hand dyed antique lace flowers. The background is an antique victiorian embroidered silk shawl that I hand dyed a deep marigold and embroidered "stars." Also used vintage needlepoint, a wonderful black and red victorian print, vintage taffeta, a circa 1900's paisley, antique gold vestment trim and antique hand dyed crochet. The wood hanger is an antique carved chinese drawer front. |
