#104 Si la famila es junta elma esta la paz
( When the family is together, the heart is at peace)

This is one of my favorite images from my collection, the proud father (with a hint of a smile in his eyes) I appliquéd the photocopy onto a piece of hand woven late 1800’s turkeyred tablecloth, that I hand stippled and beaded. The “house” frame is from a vintage Indian textile. The red & black floral print (the backing from an antique quilt) that I hand quilted, is circa 1880. Also used- vintage Slavic embroidery, a Victorian print trim, Antique cross stitch piece, Antique metallic vestment trim, a Victorian jet belt buckle, vintage buttons and beads.
