Lace resurrected
Saturday June 14

Create a small wall hanging from vintage laces
using fabric paint & embellishments.

Fall workshops
These workshops are a combination of assemblage & collage. we will be incoperating found objects, treaures & mementos to honor past lives & loved ones.
All materials are included-you are incouraged to bring in personal keepsakes,photos,? cardboard boxes will be provided- you are welcome to bring in a small/medium wood box (cigar boxes work great.)
Altar Assemblage Construct an altar using photos, mementos, Ephemera, anything goes!

Dia de los muertos Shrine Las memorias de los niño (memories of the children) According to legend, the souls of the children return to Earth as butterflies on all Nov 1st. Using antique frozen charlotte dolls-we will create our own “butterfly souls” in a small shrine.

I ‘ve had a long love affair with these wonderful tiny antique dolls. They were sold as toys from the mid 1800’s to the early 1900’s-known as Frozen Charlotte’s, Penny dolls, bath dolls or Pudding dolls. We will “resurrect” antique frozen charlotte doll’s and compose a lovely miniature framed piece of artwork.
