177. The Nightingale This was inspired by one of my favorite fairy tales- I used a wonderful Victorian embroidered bird to showcase the circa 1900 china frozen charlotte. The carved wood is off of an antique Chinese cupboard and the bird is a vintage Christmas bulb. Embellished with embroidery, beading, and reproduction metallic trim. 7 ½” x 18”
