# 91Gong de Tian (the goddess of luck) Starting at the top of this hanging- the wood hanger is an antique Chinese carved drawer front. The beautiful embroidered piece is part of a an antique Chinese cloud collar that I hand stippled and embellished with a vintage bakelite mah jong tile. The “checkerboard” squares are early 1900’s Chinese brocades hand beaded with vintage coral beads. An early 1900 china frozen charlotte is framed in an antique tintype frame with a vintage Chinese hairpin over her. The wonderful floral embroidered panel is a Victorian silk overskirt. The Chinese characters are hand embroidered on vintage linen and appliquéd onto an early 1900’s blue silk velvet.
